Co-hosted strategic planning retreat for board and staff of the only national organization dedicated to “innovative strategies to advocate for the legal and human rights of children born with intersex traits.” SEIU Washington, DC 2016 campaign strategy facilitation for senior leaders of “…an organization of 2-million members united by the belief in the dignity and worth of workers and the services they provide and dedicated to improving the lives of workers and their families and creating a more just and humane society.” The 9th Annual Harm Reduction Con, Portland, Oregon Co-hosted four days of Open Space and Harvesting with staff members from the Harm Reduction Coalition and Graphic Recorder Avril Orloff in Portland, Oregon. The conference convened 700+ people from the US and abroad to address the many critical issues affecting drug users including overdose, HIV, hepatitis, incarceration and stigma. HIV Prevention Justice Alliance, National Hosted a strategy retreat for the national committee of the PJA, which is committed to expose and confront the persistence of inequality that comes from economic, political and social conditions that benefit the few to the injury of many. steering |

Co-hosted the opening session for a gathering of 400+ conference participants from racial and economic justice organizations and think tanks to launch a learning community where participants could enter co-learning and find a shared vision for a “just and inclusive society where all people and communities have opportunity to succeed.”Deepening Our Roots Conference – Growing Meaningful & Sustainable Sexual Assault Services in Rural Communities, Seattle, WA. Co-hosted conversations during the Opening Plenary, a Learning Together World Cafe and a Knowledge Marketplace for about 100 organizational leaders and staff of rural domestic violence/sexual assault providers who convened for three days to share experiences and study cutting edge practices in their field. |
